Clarion AutonoMe is a preloaded delivery system that enables intraocular lens implantation through a 2.2 mm incision in an automated and consistent manner. The surgeon does not manually handle the lens; the injection system performs the delivery with controlled release, reducing the risk of damage to both the lens and surrounding tissue.
From a surgical management perspective, AutonoMe standardizes one of the most variable steps in cataract surgery. This means less variability between surgeons, fewer handling-related incidents, and a more predictable workflow in the operating room.
