Signa™ Prime

With SIGNA™ Prime, we have created a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner that almost anyone can operate because it’s based on what you already know. If your facility has any type of diagnostic imaging in place, you’re ready to take the next step into MRI technology. We’ve leveraged our 40 years of experience in healthcare innovation to develop a system that is environmentally friendly, ingeniously simple, and future-ready. YOU’RE READY FOR MRI.

SIGNA Prime Is ready to RM?

SIGNA Prime makes the process of adoption of RM is simple and perfect. Exclusive functions, such as our new, intuitive user experience, make SIGNA™ Prime is friendly to the inexperienced users and efficient for the day to day operations. SIGNA™ Prime delivery in the fast and easy way of high-quality images consistent using technology imaging of the latest generation.

Green from Installation to Scan

SIGNA gives you all the tools you need for a perfect transition to RM. SIGNA™ Prime is a grip reduced which facilitates its placement in a unit. Also you can install SIGNA™ Prime in demanding conditions of access to energy, water, cooling and helium, which provides greater flexibility and installation time shorter. And we offer remote support so that you can quickly address any problem as long as you start.

What Is a “Green” MRI?

Magnetic resonance imaging uses liquid helium as a coolant to give the magnet the superconducting properties needed to generate a strong magnetic field. Liquid helium is not only expensive and difficult to obtain, but it’s also becoming scarce. That’s why our engineers worked tirelessly to improve existing technology from the ground up to further reduce helium consumption. The result is our latest advanced cryogenics management technology, which preserves helium throughout installation, clinical operation, and intelligent services. This approach saves money and conserves this valuable natural resource—what we call a “green MRI.”

SIGNA Prime What learning curve?

We’ve leveled the MRI learning curve with our completely new user experience. It allows you to customize your MRI system with classic and express modes. It also offers a guided workflow with step-by-step instructions, along with simple protocol selection and planning to help ensure an error-free exam. To further simplify the process, you can monitor and scan your current patient while the system processes images from your previous patient.

Why Is UI Design So Important?

The user interface (UI) is the graphical interface you interact with to make a technology do what you want it to do. A good UI design is so intuitive that you can figure out how it works just by looking at it—crucial for training staff who are new to MRI scanners.

AI is here to help

With SIGNA™ Prime, you don’t have to choose between affordability and quality. We’ve equipped SIGNA™ Prime with cutting-edge Total Digital Imaging (TDI) 2.0. We’ve paired this with the latest AI technology to deliver images that are as easy to read as the system itself is to use. SIGNA™ Prime includes AIR™ Recon DL, the industry-leading deep-learning-based image reconstruction algorithm that works across all anatomies. AIR™ Recon DL enhances fundamental image quality by leveraging raw data to remove noise and ring artifacts. It also increases SNR and sharpness, resulting in much shorter scan times.

How Does AI Make Images Easier to Read?

MRI uses a reconstruction algorithm to capture raw image data and translate it into a final image. AIR™ Recon DL is a deep-learning-based reconstruction algorithm. Deep learning, a type of artificial intelligence (AI), trains the algorithm to automatically identify and remove artifacts—making images clearer, sharper, and easier to read, while also speeding up acquisition times.

We’ll Make Sure Your First MRI Experience Is Excellent

It’s time to change your perspective on magnetic resonance imaging. SIGNA™ Prime is specifically designed to be as intuitive as any other imaging system you’re already familiar with in your diagnostic imaging department. If you strive to provide top-quality healthcare to the community you serve, you’re ready for MRI. And we’re ready to help—every step of the way—from location selection to your first scan and all the scans that follow.
